My familymet Frankie out on cape Breton Island, in 1991 or 92, me and my sister wandered over to him playing lawn darts. He was so nice, the rest of the family joined, we hung out at the fire and sang in the jungle, he played spoons along with it. My mother Sharon passed a couple years later, Frankie called us every Christmas to see how we were doing. After my father Jim passed in 2011, Frankie continued to call my sister Andrea and I every Christmas. So sad to hear this news. He was a great man, I wish I could have visited and seen him again.

To Priscilla, Tracey, Aaron and Devin and your families,
It was a privilege to know Frankie. He was a great neighbour, always good for a kind word and a laugh. It was comforting to know that he cared about my children, and that he watched out for them. He always greeted us warmly, no matter how he was feeling. We will always remember him.
I pray that you will be comforted in your grief, and that Frankie enjoys peace in Jesus' presence. God bless you all.

We consider ourselves fortunate to have been able to get to know Frankie. Although our time together was short, we have many fond memories. The first time we met Frankie it was obvious how loving, caring and genuine he was. He never had anything other than words of kindness or encouragement to share. The world needs more Frankie's!
Although we are not able to be there to share in the celebration of Frankie's life; know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you!
Love,
Helen, Terry & Courtney

To Frankie's Family. I grew up with Frankie ,went to school with, was an Altar Boy at St. Eugene Parish,623 Sqd. air cadets, Little League baseball at Hawkes Field where he played for the Cubs but I had to play for the Dodgers because I lived on the other side of Commercial St. Went to the dances at the LOC Hall / St Anne's in the Bay chasing girls.
I have many, many great memories from that time. He stayed in old C.B. and I left to find my way elsewhere.
Please except my deepest Condolences. From reading the postings it is easy to see that Frankie maintained his great personality and outlook through his life.
Rest in Peace my friend, couldn't have had a better friend back then.

To all of Frankie’s family...our sincere condolences! My brother John (Babe) McIntyre was friends with Frankie and he always tried to keep in touch on his trips home from Truro. I had the privilege to visit Frankie with my brother a few years ago and Frankie spoke highly of his family and they had a good old chat about their baseball days and their good old times in Dominion. My brother, John passed on in December and now they are probably chatting once again! Condolences to the family again!...Diane McIntyre Stresman.

Priscilla and family. So sorry for the passing of Frankie. I spent many a day just sitting and talking while infusions were flowing, pain was present, lab results reviewed, and not a beat missed in conversation. He was not only very friendly, but also very intelligent and passionate about whatever topic came up that day. He respected people and their views, and loved to listen to a good story as much as tell one. May heaven appreciate the gem they received and Frankie find comfort and a pain free existence. Thought of you often Frankie , RIP my friend

Priscilla and Family,
My heartfelt condolences on your tremendous loss. I wasn’t sure if you could do justice to Frankie (or Priscilla) in words, but this beautiful tribute did exactly that. It was my pleasure to be in Frank’s circle of care for many years. I sometimes think that I received more benefit from that than he did. I was very fortunate to enjoy a short visit with Frankie last week. If we only had known that it would be our last. Rest easy, my friend. The girls at Pharmasave will remember you always.

Truly devastated by the loss of this man, my father in law and my children’s grandfather. He always said he loved me and was in a sense more of a father to me than my own. He will be truly missed. I’m so sorry I won’t be able to be at this funeral, Frankie was always really encouraging of my career ambitions and I know he is proud of the work I’m doing now despite the fact that it is prohibiting me from coming out East. Please know I am with each and everyone of you in spirit as we pay tribute to this beautiful human and the life he lived. Love Marg(Pickup)

My sincerest condolences to you all for the loss of Frankie! He was a super nice guy and I will never forget was I was very young on Christmas Eve I was so excited for Santa to come I couldn’t sleep! He came upstairs and laid on the bed told me stories when he was a kid! Then told me Santa was over Dominion and I needed to go to sleep or Santa would pass over our house! Our window had ice on the inside from being so cold! He asked me did I ever make foot prints on the window in the ice! I said no and he took his sock off put his bare foot on the window and the heat from his foot made a foot print on the glass! Then he said shhhhh that’s our secret! Every winter after on Christmas Eve I made a foot print on the glass! One of our talks on Facebook messenger I brought that up and he did the lol and said I can’t believe you remember that! I never forgot it and to this day if I see ice on a window I make a foot print when no one is looking. He was the first person to ever let me steer a car! He had this old black car when Aaron was a toddler in the car seat and Frankie asked me did I want to drive I sat on his lap and I steered the car all over number 2. One day I was picking da up at the wash plant and Frankie came over said hi! Asked me do I remember when I drove his car. It’s amazing how such little things can make such an impact on someone’s life.
You will be missed Frankie! Till we meet again...See ya later bi!

I was saddened to see that Frankie has passed away.
I have thought of him often over the years and each time bringing a smile to my face.
I met Frankie training and working at Stream trying to figure out how to remove a motherboard from a computer.
I think it was right away, I found out he had worked with my dad at DEVCO.
It was a pleasure to have been able to work with him but it was an honour to have known him. He was such a caring and kind man. I will never forget him.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends.
