Heavenly Father,
Walk with me today and grant that
I may hear your footsteps,
And gladly follow wherever they lead.
Talk with me today and grant that I may
hear your tender voice and quicken.
Stay with me today to its counsel,
and grant that I may feel your gentle
presence in all I do or say and think.
Be my strength when I weaken,
my courage when I fear.
Help me to know it is your hand holding mine
through all the minutes of all the hours of this day.
And when night falls down, grant that I may know
that I am gathered to your sacred Heart
to sleep in love and peace.
~ Amen
