Obituary of Harold Ernest Williams

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Harold Ernest Williams. Harold passed away at the QEII Hospital in Halifax surrounded by family, on 4 January 2021 at the age of 80. Born in Halifax as the only child of Alvina (Clements) and Harold Williams. Harold was a skilled salesman in his younger days, owning several successful businesses. Known to his friends as Ernie, he strongly valued his social life, and was the founder of dart, bowling, and horseshoe leagues as well as a proud, longstanding, member of the Canadian Legion. He was loved by many for his quick wit and larger than life personality and will be missed by his friends and family. Harold is survived by his sons, Mark and Darryl (Victoria) and his grandchildren, Grace, Amelia, and Zachary. He was predeceased by his long-time partner, Valerie Smith.
