As the little sister of Mark's best friend, I didn't know Barb (or "Mrs. Murphy", as she was to me) very well, but as a kid I remember her being friendly and inviting, with a warm smile. Years later I would run into her occasionally at Sunnyside Mall, where she worked, and she always gave me a big hug and wanted to hear all the news of how Jason and my parents were doing. She was delightful, with all the warmth and sincerity that I remembered. I'm was so sorry to hear that she had passed. My condolences to those close to her, and especially to Mark and Jason, for the loss of your Mom.

I was very saddened to learn of Barb's passing. Jason C. was telling me that it was quite sudden and maybe unexpected. My condolences to Mark especially. Barb was a great lady who Donna and I would meet regularly in the mall. I have many fond memories of those earlier days when the 'boy' were young. She will be missed. John Curtis

Jason and family I was saddened to read that your Mom had passed away. I often talked to her when she worked in Bedford and she always mentioned you boys.
