Obituary of Kathleen Marie Slaunwhite

Age 68 of Halifax passed away surrounded by her loved ones on December 13, 2020 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site. Born is Halifax, she was a daughter of the late James and Ella (Cornelius) Haley. Kathleen was a hairdresser for over 20 years. She loved bowling and shopping. She was a religious watcher of The Days of Our Lives and General Hospital. Her family and friends were her world, she loved spending time with them. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Charlie Slaunwhite; brothers, Doug (Teresa) Williams, Alan (Darlene) Williams, James Haley and Marty Haley; sisters, Peggy (Rick) Glenn, Gail (Bill) Grant, Joan (James) Stroud, Marylou Haley, Annamarie (Alan) and Brenda (Randy) Haley; brothers-in-law, Joey (Bev) Slaunwhite, Percy Slaunwhite and Georgie Slaunwhite; sister-in-law; Cathy Hutt; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother-in-law, Roy Slaunwhite, sister, Shirley Haley. The family would like to thank Jennifer Landry for all of her wonderful care. Arrangements and Cremation have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists. In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services at this time.
