Michael S. McNeil Bridgeport/Glace Bay It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael McNeil, 67, on December 3, 2020. Michael was the son of the late James and Genevie McNeil. Michael left Glace Bay at 19 years of age to work in Ottawa for many years. He then returned back to his hometown and resided at Terrace Manor for the past 11 years, where he met many new and dear friends. Michael had a passion for Baseball and Hockey; he also loved to walk, and never missed his daily venture down to Commercial Street. Michael is survived by his Sisters; Clare, Edna, and Eileen. Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by Sisters, Pauline and Lois; Brothers, Edgar and James. Cremation has taken place, under the care and guidance of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. (902) 849-4199. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 11 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Parish, Bridgeport, with Fr. Daniel Boudreau officiating, with Interment to follow. Seating is limited. Memorial Donations may be made to Terrace Manor, 208 South St., Glace Bay. Due to COVID-19, Social Distancing is to be followed and Masks are mandatory.
