My sincere sympathies to all of Mary’s family on her passing. She was such a wonderful, gracious and kind woman. I had the privilege of working with Mary at the Grace Maternity Hospital. I remember how welcoming Mary was when I initially started. My having Polish heritage helped I think and she was always available to chat and offer sound advice and guidance to a young Health Information Professional just embarking on her career. She so seemed to enjoy life and I suspect you have many wonderful memories to hold dear. Will be keeping you in my thoughts.
Sincerely, Donna Gallivan

Mary has been a client for some time and we have often remarked at how vibrant and energetic she was, especially to travel each year to Florida. After reading the obituary, I know that the years I've known her are only a small part of the wonderful life she has led. We will continue to think of her very fondly.

We met her on the occasion of Sabrina's 40th birthday and we had a delightful evening chatting with her throughout the night. Vickey, Stephanie, Kathryn, Chris and Theresa, my sincere condolences on the passing of your wonderful mother. She was a cherished friend whom I first met in Florida in 2001. We enjoyed playing shuffleboard, bridge, lunches and the odd beverage together. The lunches continued whenever I visited Halifax which I so looked forward to. May the good Lord be waiting for your Mom with a shuffleboard cue in one hand, a dry martini in the other and lead her to a table where they're waiting for a fourth for bridge! Love, Sybil Dornan

How well I recall Mary's warmth and wisdom when I first became a student member of the local Nova Scotia branch of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists in the early 1960s. Her smile was wonderful and welcoming. We may have thought that hospital services in our small province couldn't be expected to match those in 'Upper Canada' or the US, but as my own career took me to those 'bigger' places, I recognized that infants and children were in such good hands in Halifax. Mary was a capable and lovely woman. I remember her with great fondness, and offer my sincere condolences to her family and lifetime friends.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Mary was a kind beautiful lady. I met her while I worked for Chebucto Links where she participated in weekly activities. She enjoyed getting together for lunches, playing Bridge and travelling to the NS 55 Plus Games. I will cherish my memories of her wit and smile.
