Age 82 of Halifax passed away November 5, 2020 at the QEII V.G. Site. Born in Lunenburg, NS he was a son of the late Paul Vincent and Mildred (Conrad) Zinck. Ray joined the Masons in 1975. He was affiliated with St. Margaret’s Lodge # 118 in 1997 and Unity Lodge #4 till 2010. Ray was a very loving and kind person to everyone he met. He loved sports and had many sport achievements. He is survived by his wife Mary (Hale) Zinck of 28 years; daughter, Shelly (Zinck) Brokenshire; son-in-law, Brian Brokenshire; brother, Llyod ( Mary Lou) Zinck, Alberta; sister, Virginia ( Baker) Zinck, N.B.; sister-in-law, Phyliss (Lohnes) Zinck, Lunenburg; good friend Barb Hache, Halifax, whom was a good long time friend to Ray; along with many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by first wife Marilyn (Crouse) Zinck; brothers, Herbert Zinck, Lunenburg, Gilbert, and Marvin; sister, Joanne (Zinck) Hannam, NFLD. Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent.
