Obituary of Brenda Bell Jordan

Of Dartmouth, Age 71. It is with great sadness, after a long battle with cancer, that we announce that Brenda passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2020. Brenda was born December 14, 1948 and grew up in Indian Harbour, NS. She was the daughter of the late, Leo and Thelma (Boutilier) Beaver. Brenda loved to play Bingo with her best friends Kay, Hazel and Carol. She also enjoyed playing cards with her card crew, going on adventures and spending time with her family and friends. Brenda is survived by her son, Charles (Patty); daughters, Ellen (Bruce), Amanda (Gordie). Brenda was a loving Grandmother to, Nicholas (Samantha), Samantha (Jake), Katarina (Kyle a.k.a Karl), Megan (Nathan), Amanda, Shelby, Em-Jai, and Grayce; and great-grandmother to Dalilah, Lyric, Everly, Madison and soon to be born Linkin. She is also survived by her brother, Leon; and sisters, Vina, Gladys, Carol, and Cora; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Barry, Baby Leo; and sisters, Peggy, Pearly and Gail. She is also predeceased by nephew, Dewayne; and great-granddaughter Aurora. The family would like to thank Mitch and the whole Palliative Care team for their incredible support, as well as Clara from Red Cross home care. Donations can be made to the Dartmouth Senior Service Centre and the Canadian Cancer Society. A celebration of life will take place by invitation only due to Covid19. “We love you; we miss you and may you rest in paradise until we see you again”
