I am so sad at the sudden loss of my friend Lee. I have known Lee for many years and she was so devoted to her community, always doing what she could to help people who needed it. We spent a wonderful day together when I was in Glace Bay in September. Lee was so welcoming and generous and her warm laugh was very comforting. My sincere condolences to her family. Love you Lee.

Although I never met Lee in person, I chatted with her online regularly during the NHL hockey season on a Montreal Canadiens Fans site. She was one of the admins of the site and I always looked forward to reading her insightful posts. It was clear that she knew the game of hockey well and had a passion for the Canadiens. Like me, she didn’t have rose colored glasses when it came to commenting about the team’s or GM’s performance. Even though we never met, I will sincerely miss her and our chats during future hockey seasons. Rest In Peace Lee and Go Habs Go.

I meet Lee many years ago, we played soft ball, I was on a different team but she was a beautiful person, years later she called me , she was a councilor then, wanted her income taxes done, since then every year she would call, and her famous words were "get me all you can Buddy " , we would talk for awhile, I will miss her calls, Lee will be sadly missed not only by her family but by many who knew her, she was one of a kind, if more people were like Lee the world might be a better place. R.I.P Lee and God Bless you and your family, God needed another angel, and you were certainly one here, goodbye friend

I've know Lee since we were 14 years old, she was a beautiful person, always had a smile and a laugh, I used to call her b her given name, and she'd say, my name is Lee, just to bug her, although she knew that, she was a good friend, loved her family dearly, my heart goes out to her family, god love you

My deepest sympathies on Lee's passing. I remember meeting Lee when we first moved to New Aberdeen in the early 1970's. She was a sweet, genuine, human being. May her memory be a blessing to all that had the pleasure to know her. RIP.
