Obituary of Sandra Hollis LeBlanc
Age 75 of Timberlea and formerly of Terence Bay, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on November 2, 2020. Born June 18, 1945, she was the daughter of Connie and the late Edmund Slaunwhite. Sandra is survived by her children, Anthony, Scott (Colleen) and Dawn (Adam McKinlay); her beloved grandson, Matthew McKinlay; step granddaughter, Nakita; step great grandchildren, Wesson and Kolt; sisters Sylvia, Kathy (Bob), Cindy (Barry) and Lynn (Marcel); brothers, Dennis (Wanda), Bruce (Sherry), Keith and Todd; as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Edmund; husband, Phil; sister, Sheila.
Sandra married the love of her life, Phil, on June 21, 1969. She worked at Birks Jewelers until the birth of her children and later as a nanny and crossing guard for many years.
She was a kind and gentle woman who touched the lives of everyone she knew with her soft voice and selfless manner. She was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all. Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to T. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses who provided care. In Keeping with Sandra’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Terence Bay on Saturday, November 7th at 11am with Reverend Cheryl Rafuse officiating. An internment will follow at St. Paul’s cemetery. A small reception thereafter at 16 Sampson Lane. Due to COVID restrictions, the service is for family only and the reception is for anyone who has a special place for ‘San’ in their hearts.
