Our sincere condolences to Don, Carolyn’s children and step children, Aunt Johanna, her siblings Dan and Cindy and extended families in the sudden loss of your loved one. Carolyn was a quiet, gentle, and kind person. Her beautiful smile was contagious. Family was important to her. I remember our skating time together at the Sydney arena, Centre 200 when Carlie and Don twirled gracefully around the rink to their favourite music. We went dancing together when we visited Cape Breton. Carlie found great comfort in fishing. During fishing season, after meal time, she would head out to her favourite fishing hole to enjoy the sport and the peace and tranquility of nature.
Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
Rest in peace Carolyn. You will not be forgotten.

Dan and family;
I am so sorry for your loss, Carlie from what I remember was such a kind and generous person, always smiling. You and your family will always be in thoughts and prayer. Unfortunate that our families live so far apart.

Billie Jo, Pam, Gussie, Don, Danny and families. We are so sorry for your tremendous loss. Aunt Carol was such a great woman. I remember her kindness and how she loved to make sure you were well fed (delicious gooseberry pie!), and her taking me and George fishing with her and Billie Jo when we were small and many other memories. Please accept our most heartfelt condolences. She was the absolute best.
Cousins Margaret and George and families.
