Obituary of Valerie Bridget MacDougall

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Valerie Bridget MacDougall, age 58, of Milford, announces her passing, on September 25, 2020 at the Halifax Hospice, with her loving family by her side. Valerie was a loving and supportive wife, friend, mother, and grandmother. She was kind and generous to everyone she met, touching the lives of many. She had the ability to light up any room and leave you howling with laughter. We will never forget her dry humour, stubbornness, and sassy attitude. Valerie is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Robert; son, Stanley (Jessica) Dahr; daughter, Beverley-Ann (William) MacDougall; grandchildren, Lily and Abigail; sister, Marina Hendsbee; many brother- and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Philip Whitten; and brother, Walter Whitten. The family would like to thank the staff of Halifax Hospice for the exceptional care Valerie had received, as well as the staff of the QEII hospital.
