Obituary of James Henry Wilson

Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Age 90 of Halifax, it is with tears and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dad and Papa, James Henry Wilson peacefully surrounded by family on September 24, 2020. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick on December 17, 1929, he was a son to the late Olive and Harry Wilson. Dad was an unselfish man who worked hard and never had a complaint. Dad loved and adored his children and grandchildren. He was our friend, hero, mentor, and most of all the most loving person you could meet. Dad loved his daily trips to Sobey’s and any thrift store along the way. We are so proud to have called him Dad, Daddy’o, and Papa. Dad retired from Sears as a technician at the age of 75. We are all blessed to have had him in our lives. Dad will now reunite with his loving wife, our mother Joan (2006), and his daughter, our sister and sidekick Jane (2003). Survived by his loving children; Cathy (David), Paul (Darlene) and Brett (Shelly); grandchildren, Melanie (Steve), Holly (Andrew), Jodi (Thomas), Haley (Zach), Sean, Mark (Megan), Drew, Brendon, Connor, Scott and Troy; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary and Barbara; sister and brother-law Sandra(Alvin); brother, George.
