Obituary of Linda Gail Beazley

Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Beazley, age 70, of Lower Sackville, announces her passing on September 20, 2020. Born in East Dover, she was the daughter of the late Freda (Duggan) Allen. Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. The love of her life was her husband, Brian, and their family, to whom she devoted most of her time. Linda and Brian had many adventures camping, snowmobiling and, most recently, 4-wheeling. She also enjoyed travelling. Some of her favourite vacations included Las Vegas, California, Bermuda, and driving through the Rockies. Linda would often start her mornings with a coffee and a crossword puzzle. She loved to bake, especially for Christmas, and she willingly shared her recipes with anyone who asked. She enjoyed knitting and making beaded ornaments and, in her later years, selling her creations at local craft fairs. She also enjoyed playing cards, anything from crib to SkipBo. Linda never turned down a chance to spend time with her grand-kids and some of her favourite card games were the rounds and rounds of Go Fish or Crazy 8s she played with them. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Brian of 50 years; daughter, Alanna (Mark) Collins, Truro; son, Adam Beazley, Hantsport; grandchildren, Georgia, Cooper and Milo; sister, Karen Murphy; brothers, Dale and Darrell Hickling; mother-in-law, Joyce Beazley; many brother- and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Freda Allen; stepfather, Arthur Allen; brother-in-law, Donald Murphy; and father-in-law, Murray Beazley. Linda’s family would like to extend a special thank you to her oncologists, the VON, the palliative care team and the nurses and care team assistants on 6B. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th at 2 p.m. in Sunrise Park Inter-Faith Cemetery, Hatchet Lake. COVID-19 restrictions will be in place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. Remember Linda the next time you do something you love with your family or when you see a ladybug flutter by.
