Obituary of Bobby Lind

Robert Edward Lind Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Bobby Lind, age 74, on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Glace Bay Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Edward and Jean Lind MacLean. He was a construction worker by trade. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his friends in the yard and in the garden, fishing and going for long drives in the country. Bobby is survived by his sons, Greg and Eddie; his daughters, Marie, Cathy and Lydia; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sisters, caregiver Helen (Jimmy) MacNeil, Eileen Jewells, and Marina (Robert)Warner, several nieces and nephews as well as his best friends, Tommy Budden, Brian Parsons and Joe Matheson. Bobby was predeceased by his parents, step father, Bob MacLean and sister Carolyn Lind. The family would like to thank Tommy for being there with Bobby over the years. Cremation has taken place.
