Obituary of Tomislav Dimitrijević

It is with sadness that the family of Tomislav Dimitrijević, age 85 of Bedford NS, announce his passing on April 6th, 2019 at the QEII. Born in Aleksinac, Serbia, he was a son of the late Vitomir and Radmila. Tomislav worked for 35 years in the Institue For Oncology and Radiology in Belgrade, Serbia. His greatest joy was being with his grandkids, playing with them, giving them all his love, putting them in front of everything, and best of all was if they wanted chocolate, they knew they could get it anytime from Deda Toma. He is survived by sons Saša and Dragan; daughters in law Maria and Vesna; grandchildren Marko, Dejan, Arianna, Izabella, Pavle, and Kristina; and niece Mirjana. Beside his parents, Tomislav was predeceased by wife of 38 years, Slobodanka; as well as 4 brothers. Arrangements have taken place under the care of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford. (902-835-4212) Visitation will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 2187 Larry Uteck Blvd., on Saturday, April 13th, from 11 am to 1 pm, with funeral service to follow immediately at 1 pm. All are invited to join the family for a reception in the church hall, and interment will take place immediately following the reception at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 33 Old Sackville Road, Lr. Sackville.
