RANDALL DARRELL MOSHER (Randy, Yoda, Papa Bear), 68, of Halifax, NS Succumbed to kidney cancer after an over ten year battle on August 19, 2020. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Elinor Mosher and Darrell Mosher (both deceased). Randy was a kind man and a loving husband and father, his love for his family showed every day; they were the most important thing to him. Carol, his wife, was his best friend. Randy kept her grounded and always made her laugh. They enjoyed long drives together, and every time they were walking together they could be seen hand in hand. For those closest to him, he showed affection by joking and teasing, which would end with his infectious giggle. A loveable quality that was passed down to his children. For most his working life Randy worked in the electrical industry, retiring from Rexell last year. Randy earned the nickname Yoda from the fact that he was like a walking encyclopedia and was the person everyone went to if they needed a question answered. Some of his favourite things were family dinners, his dog Max and watching cooking shows (although he did not cook). He is greatly missed by Carol, his family and friends. Randy is survived by his loving wife Carol (Ford) of 47 years. Two sons Bryan and Christian (Belinda). Two daughters Meghan and Lindsey. Three brothers Stephen, Roger and Rick. Four grandchildren Damian, Kiara, Laura and Casey and two great grandchildren Andre and Charlotte. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Kidney Cancer Canada. A special thank you to Dr. Arik Drucker, Dr. Karen McNeil, Claire the palliative care nurse and all of the health care workers that have helped Randy throughout his ten year battle with cancer.
