Our sincerest and deepest condolences to the family and friends during this very hard time. Don was an amazing guy and was very special to many people across the world. He was a hero and brother to people that never got the pleasure of meeting him face to face. He was truly a light in the darkness. The world would be a much better place if there were more people like him. RIP Bandit With all of our love Frog, Aussie and The CAP Clan.

I was a civilian travel supervisor attached to DND in Kabul and booked Don's leave for him. That began a phone and email trail of jokes and banter that was an important bit of levity in the strange and stressful environment we were in. He was brilliant and hilarious; we had a blast in those few minutes of breaks. Leaving theatre meant leaving these friendships behind but I have never forgotten them. I am so terribly sorry to hear that he is gone. To all his friends and family, please accept my sincerest condolences.

I find it hard to comment on Don’s passing. He was a figure in my early career. He was a friend as guys are friends. We pass at a distance. We wave and say hello. We pass over a year or two. But we carry on as brothers. Time isn’t our measure, but time loses us as we see old men pass. I’ll miss Don. But oh the stories we could share. I’ll share the stories now, in fond passing tales where Don will be a Hero
Rest easy brother. You are missed.

Linda, Eddy ,Laura ,and family, there are no words to express how i feel.My heart is broken for all of you. Donald was taken too soon. I remember Donald as a young guy who I met at bowling. Soon we became great family friends and still remain friends I used to torment Donald and Laura on Awards night when they won everything and I would say" Its fixed" because his Mom was in charge ,Donald would just smile at me. Donald made his country proud by serving for 21 yrs.Well done good and faithful soldier .Thank you for your service. RIP my friend.

Linda and Laura and family,
I am heartbroken for your family. I didn’t know Donald but my son is about the same age. Adam was in (sea) cadets as a teenager, too. Their paths may have crossed in school or cadet camp. I cannot imagine your grief. I know there are no words to help. But know that friends care and are praying for your strength. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.
Sincerely,

Eddy, Linda and Laura, please know how saddened we were to hear of Donald's passing. Sometimes life is to short, but it sounds you have a lot of fond memories of his time with you. We have some cute memories from our time at the Morrisons, he was a gentle mild little boy, it appears he stayed that way into adulthood. Let your memories take you through your journey you have ahead. We believe if you look to the sky at night and see the brightest twinkling star, that's Donald letting you know he's home. You will be in our thoughts and prayer. God Bless
