To Paul and family,
Patsy and family,
It's so very hard to not be with you today, but rest assured our thoughts and prayers are.
There is no word in existence that quite describes Aunt Pearl. She was the great in great, wonderful in wonderful and the absolute love in loving.
She'll be missed more then any other. Theres a song that asks "who's gonna fill them shoes?", we all know that in regards to aunt Pearl, that will never happen.
We will miss her.
Love you guys.

To Paul and all my family in Nova Scotia,
I am thinking of all you today as you lay your Mom to rest.
Mother, Sister,Grandmother, Aunt, Friend, Cousin, Colleague, So Many People knew her in
a different way.
I have many great memories of Aunt Pearl growing up as a child and remember fondly all of our visits with Mom
to Nova Scotia. Mom used to be so happy when all of you came home as well each summer.
In later years, part of my trip to NS for the autism walks included a trip to Sears after the walk to see
her if she was working. Then Saturday evenings we would spend with her and she would fill me in with all the news and then want me to bring a "SMALL" package back to NL in my suitcase!
She was very proud of all her family and loved you all so much. She led a very active and happy life and I'm sure those memories will make you smile in the days to come.
Love, cousin Sheila Sharpe.

I consider myself a fortunate fellow in that I had the privilege of building a house for Pearl, Paul and Melanie in Miller Lake West. Very shortly after talking with Pearl for the first time, we both realized that we shared two very important interests, family and work. As a result, we began to share stories of both and in no time, we became chit-chat buddies. Anytime Pearl visited the job site, regardless of how busy I was or the demand on my time, I stopped whatever I was doing to share a few moments with Pearl to ask how she was doing and what she was up to. The conversations were always welcome, warm and something that somehow made the day just a bit brighter. She was a special lady and will always have a warm place in my heart. Rest In Peace Pearl.
Fondly,
Bob Massia

Pearl, as I always called her, even tho’ she is my aunt, had a big heart that could hold everyone in the family, extended family and as many people who wanted to be called her friend. She showed everyone the same kindness and consideration and went out of her way to make sure she didn’t forget anyone who had an occasion to celebrate. I’m sure her smile and comical demeanour made loads of people happy just to be around her. I don’t remember a time when Pearl wasn’t in my life and I am so grateful I got to be loved by her for so many years, and my children and their children came to know her as I did. My love for camping came from camping with her and Big Mom and Patsy all those years ago!
Aunt Pearl, may you Rest In Peace. And say hi to my mom for me when you are reunited with your family in heaven.
Love always, Cinderella (as she alway called me). I miss you already.
