Obituary of Arthur Berrigan

Arthur James Berrigan Glace Bay It is with a heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of my brother, Arthur Berrigan, age 68, at home on Friday, July 3, 2020. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Young) Berrigan. Arthur volunteered at the Glace Bay Food Bank for many years. He was employed with Glace Bay Fisheries and later worked as a coal miner in Grand Cache, AB. Arthur will be dearly missed by his sister Genny Munden, Glace Bay, niece, Genny Janes, Burton, NB; nephew, Charlie Janes, Grand Prairie, AB.; grand nephew, Cody Janes, Halifax, who was like a son to him. as well as his best friend Puffa. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services as per Arthur’s wishes. Donations in Arthur’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
