Obituary of James Ignatius Madore

James Ignatius 'Naish' Madore Glace Bay With great sadness, Billy and Nickie wish to announce the sudden passing of their brother, Naish Madore on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Born in Glace Bay, he was the youngest son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (McNeil) Madore. Naish was employed with Devco for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed playing baseball and darts and was an avid walker. Naish is survived by his brothers, Charles 'Billy' ( Joan) and Neil 'Nickie' (Jean); sister Theresa Brushett; sister-in-law, Mary Madore; aunt Martha MacLean as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother Joseph and sister Charlotte Timmons. The family would like to thank Juanita Steele for being his guardian angel for the last number of years. Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will be held Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 3 p.m. in St., John’s Cemetery, Glace Bay. Donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
