Obituary of Ronald Freeman Briand

BRIAND, Ronald Freeman- Age 57 of Halifax, passed away with his loving daughter by his side on June 28, 2020 at the QEII V.G. Site. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Walter and Ruby Briand. He worked as a maintenance worker at the Atlantica Hotel for many years. He loved music but was a fan of the Bee Gee’s. One thing Ron hated was the heat and sun but loved when it rained. He is survived by his daughter Krista Kirvin; grandson, Eric; brother Don; sisters, Cathy, Ellen, Paula, and Debbie. He was predeceased by his wife Lee-Anne Briand; brother, Dave Briand. In keeping with Ron’s wishes there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2020 at 1 p.m. at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax, NS (902)-835-4212. In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made out in Ron’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
