Obituary of Joseph Winston Keating

Joseph “Joey” Winston Churchill Keating, age 76, of Kline Heights passed away Wednesday, May 27th, 2020 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Kline Heights, he was the youngest child of the late Joseph and Seretha (Marryatt) Keating. He worked for many years at Atlantic Wholesale Ltd. He enjoyed going to the dances at the legion and Newfoundland club, and playing the spoons. He is survived by his brother Claude “Buddy” of Harrietsfield; sisters Marie McPherson, Spryfield; Shirley Dwyer, Williamswood; June Morris, Herring Cove. He was predeceased by brothers Lloyd, Albert, Harry, and Collins; Sisters Theresa, Blanche, Edith and Dorothy “Dot”. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to T.J Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax (902) 835-4212. Interment will be held Friday, June 5th at 11 am in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
