With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of our wife, mom and nannie Pamela Anne (Babineau) Lee on Sunday May 17, 2020 at the Glace Bay General Hospital due to a short battle with cancer. Pam lived for her children and grandchildren. Pam touched the hearts of everyone she met and was a mother figure to so many who will be now lost without her. Pam enjoyed volunteering for the poppy campaign, along with many hobbies like crafts and especially cooking and baking. She was always eager to try a new recipe. Pam also loved taking drives along the Cabot Trail, especially in the fall.

Pam leaves behind her husband Bernie Lee; children, Shelly Lee, Pam (Liam) Doyle and Jason (Tiffany) Lee; her three grandchildren who will miss her dearly, Kenzie and Lara Doyle and Abbigail Lee. Pam also leaves behind her sister, Sheri Eagle; brothers, Rick (Donna) and Bruce (Christine) Babineau and brother-in-law Kav (Pat) Kavanagh; as well as her extended Lee and Babineau families, who will miss her dearly.

Pam was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Babineau and sister Donna Kavanagh.

We would like to thank Dr. James MacLean and his receptionist Shauna, Dr. Gordon Spencer and 3 South Palliative Care Unit at the Glace Bay General Hospital for taking care of our wife and mom.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cape Breton Regional Patient Care Fund.
