Obituary of Clara Martha Gay

GAY, Clara Martha- Age 81 of Halifax passed away April 27, 2020 at Northwood Manor, Halifax. Born in Halifax,she was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (McKinnon) Smith. She is survived by her son, Robert (Angela) Gay, Halifax; brother, Wayne (Agnes) Smith, Hammonds Plains; 6 grandchildren, Carrie, Shannon, Megan, Zachary, Tanner and Gabby; 3 great grandchildren, April, Ryker and Emmett;many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son , James “Jimmy”; daughter, Dawn; brothers, Billy (Peggy) and Garry (Marion). In keeping with Claras wishes there will be no visitation or funeral held due to the COVID virus. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Nova Scotia food bank.
