Obituary of Wendell Clark Reid

It is with great sadness that the family of Wendell Clark Reid of Mount Uniacke announces his passing on March 25th, 2020 at the age of 79. Born is Musquodoboit, he was the son of the late Lillian and Clark Reid. Wendell is survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis and son Tony. Wendell was an Electrician and worked most of his career with Provincial Electric. Wendell was an avid hunter & fisherman as well as being a loyal Toronto Maple Leafs fan. His son Tony being a Montreal Canadiens fan, we had many a “Hockey Night in Canada”, when both teams battled it out. He had a passion for Siberian Huskies and had two of them named Zipper & Prince which he enjoyed daily walks in the park with them.
He will be lovingly remembered by sisters, Dolly Thompson (Bruce) of Hamilton, Ontario, Sadie St. Onge (Donald) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; Brothers, Jack of Sudbury, Ontario, Gary of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; Sister, Shirley Hamilton; Sister-in-law, Shirley Garnier, Barbara (Nicholas) Boudreau and Brother-in-law Sonny (Toni) all of Halifax, Nova Scotia and many nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters; Helen Fleming, Charlene MacLeod and brother-in law; Keith Garnier.
Wendell, although not physically with us, you will hold a special place in our hearts, you are in our thoughts and prayers until we meet again, we will love you forever. Tony & I saw you close your eyes, heard your last faint sigh.
