Becky and family, Danny, Karl and Roger. Please accept my sincere condolences on Terry's passing. It's probably been close to 50 years since I've seen Terry, but will always have great memories of all of us growing up together in Thornhill Park. He was a great guy as we grew up and obviously from the comments that I've read, that never changed over the course of his life. I'm not surprised...Doris more or less whipped 'goodness' into all of us as we grew up together. He may be gone now but will never be forgotten. Brian Richey, Paradise, NL

My sincere condolences to the family of Terry McGrath. Terry and I were neighbors and friends as children. He was one of my best friends, back in Spryfield. Terry was born 10 days before I was, but his mom used to call us twins, since we came home from the hospital around the same time. Poor Doris had to stay longer in hospital because Terry was "kicking his way out" and had bruised her kidney. It was Terry's dad, Carl, who gave me a nickname that stuck throughout the years. He'd greet me with, "Hello, Pamerella!" I have many fond memories of Terry and his family. You will all be in my prayers.

Becky, Amelia and Luc I am absolutely heartbroken for you. I know Terry's road was a tough one and he fought the good fight, I wish him peace now. Since he was a little kid my relationship with Terry has always been genuine and loving, I adored his kindness and care of his family and Doris. His presence at a million dance recitals for Amelia was always a welcome moment to connect with him over so many years. We will meet as soon as the world will allow. For now I send you all the love. Becky, I am so very sorry to hear of Terry's passing. The last time I saw Terry was about 2 years ago when Eddie and I were back in NS for a visit. He drove us to the airport at the last minute and, as usual, he was charming, funny and so very kind. Terry was so kind to me over the years and we always enjoyed a good laugh whenever we met. I remember when I was in junior high school, and we had a dance on a Friday night. Terry attended that dance and I was so absolutely thrilled when he asked me to dance! All the other girls were envious that such a good looking and "older" boy had asked me to dance as Terry would have been in high school at that point and we junior high people were in awe of the high school students. I was a bit of a wall flower in junior high and it was so like Terry to see that and ask me to dance. I feel indescribably sad that such a wonderful, caring and genuine man has left this earth. I will remember forever his smile and that wonderful laugh! All my sympathy to you, Amelia and Luc. XO
