Obituary of Andrew Lawrence Williamson

Andrew (Andy) Lawrence Williamson, age 83, of Dartmouth passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29th, 2020. Born in Orangedale, Cape Breton he was the son of the late Andrew and Catherine Williamson. Andy worked for the Royal Bank in the late 50’s & 60’s as a Manager for Halifax, Liverpool, Digby and Windsor as well as Richardson Security, Nesbitt Thomson as a stock broker, Department of Lands & Forestry as an assistant to the Minister, retiring as the Director of Finance for the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission. He was the member of the Masonic Lodge, strong supporter of the Progressive Conservative Party. He was survived by his sons Andrew & Scott and stepsons Craig & Brad; daughter, Louise and stepdaughter Julia; sister, Christina MacKeen; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and twin brother Archie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
