Lewis Andrew (Bud) Griswold
Age 85 of Halifax passed away peacefully, embraced by his wife and daughter on March 3, 2020. He was born on October 17, 1934 in Clam Harbour to Louis and Kathleen. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bernadette, daughter Andrea, son-in-law Richard Cooper, sister Anne Dauphinee, and grand-dog Gryzia. He was pre-deceased by his parents and brothers, William and David.
Dad began his career as an electrician, later returning to school to become a diesel mechanic. He retired as Foreman at Metro Transit in 1994 and enjoyed a long retirement.
He enjoyed golf, skiing, travelling to warm countries, drawing, cars, driving and Star Trek. He loved new technologies and always had the latest tech gadgets, so his son-in-law enjoyed a constant supply of second- hand tech. Most of all he loved his family and he had a truly kind, gentle soul. He was loved and will be deeply missed. Don’t worry Dad we’ll always be careful and look after each other.
Donations, if desired, may be made to the Palliative Care Unit 7A, VG Hospital.
