Pauline Sarah Hill Dominion It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of Pauline Hill, age 87, on Friday, February, 28, 2020 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney surrounded by her loving family. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Lillian and Vincent McIntyre. In her younger years, she loved to dance and play cards. Pauline spent many summer camping in Iona. She enjoyed being with her family and her fur baby, Sadie. Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Simon Hill; son Francis (Helen), two precious grandchildren, Jared and Taylor; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley. Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. with Fr. Daniel Boudreau officiating all taking place at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199). Reception to follow. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and family friend Lenore Royal.
