My sweet beloved Ma Sue, I am so sorry I was not home when you were in your last moments on this earth, I will love you dearly, always. SO many memories with you (the fam), and my dear cousin Roy, man he looked just like my Da. I could never get to your house fast enough when Mom and I were home. I am so glad I got to spend time with you again when I moved home, some things change, and some stay the same. Your dear heart, wicked sense of humor, amazing source of empathy and a kitchen only a Caper could understand how to maneuver, authentic home, you were a steadfast of true Cape Breton pride. Family, friends, neighbors, Island. Cape Breton forever.
