Obituary of Michael Robert LaPierre

Michael Robert LaPierre age 68 of Grand Desert passed away January 26th 2020 peacefully at Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in Nova Scotia he was the son of the late Roland & Dorothy LaPierre. Michael was a great Machinist at BIO, loved hunting, fishing and seafood. Michael loved his grandchildren… “to the moon and back”. Survived by his wife Debbie Mildred(Hatt)LaPierre of 45 years; daughters Roxanne Michelle LaPierre (Rick), Amanda Nicole LaPierre (Kevin); brother Richard LaPierre (Elizabeth); sisters Katherine (LaPierre)Robitaille (Dan), Christine (LaPierre) Wolfe (David); grandchildren, Hunter, Sierra & Zackary and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by father Roland & mother Dorothy La Pierre. Special thank you to all the caregivers involved in his care, Dr. Tennessen at Twin Oaks Hospital, to all his friends who were with his family through everything and to all the family who have always been there.
