Valorie Mary Spurr, 75, of Halifax passed away January 21, 2020 at QEII Hospital.
Born in St. Stephen, NB she was a daughter of Evelyn Mae Babineau (Haughn).
Val enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, playing card games, spending time with friends and family. Val loved the ocean sight, sound and smell. The nerdy side of Val loved sci-fi, Star Trek was her favourite. She was an avid reader. She loved to give and receive hugs. Mom will forever be loved and missed.
Survived by only daughter, Wendy Mae (Ricky Newcombe) Spurr-Newcombe; brothers, Pat, Douglas; sisters, Sherry, Barb; grandchildren, Megan Mae (Maggie Mae), Emily Jean (Love machine); and many nieces and nephews.
As per Val’s wishes there will be no funeral.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SPCA.
