I had the privilege of meeting Mr. MacDonald a few times while I was roommates with his daughter Kim at the University of Georgia. I was always struck by what a sweet, funny, kind man he was. It was also clear how much his family adored and admired him.
Condolences to the entire family at this very difficult time. I will be praying for peace and healing for your family.

Janet and family, it has truly been an honor to know John. His caring and calm demeanour are what I remember most as I served with him on call with The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and as Collection counter. Being an X grad also made him special as we shared this common bond. Heaven has just been made brighter my the presence of our dear friend John MacDonald.
God bless you Janet and girls as you morn the death of your beloved husband and father.
RIP John.
