Obituary of Shawn Noel

Shawn Bernard Noel Glace Bay It is with great sadness, that I announce the passing of my dear partner, Shawn Bernard Noel. Shawn passed away peacefully at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, with Jean by his side. He was the son of the late Alonzo and Patricia (Jamieson) Noel, Jacket River, New Brunswick. In Shawn’s early days, he was a woodsman for 35 years in New Brunswick and later a painter by trade. Shawn was an avid hockey fan, with his favourite team being the Montreal Canadiens. Shawn is survived by his partner, Jean Lawrence; his children, Luke, Jeremy (Kristy), Robin (Murray), Melissa, Jeffery (Justin); his 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Sharon, Debra, Jocelyn, Sheldon, Randal and Jamie; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Shawn was predeceased by his brothers Noel and Mark. As per the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the direction of T.J.
