With broken hearts, we the family, announce the passing of Peter Charles Stewart, age 45 on October 22, 2024. Born on October 11, 1979, he was the son of Winnie Turner (Dean) and Raymond Stewart and stepson to Joseph Turner.

Peter’s life revolved around his children who meant the world to him. He had a great love for animals and was a very kind-hearted person, if anyone needed help in any way, he was there to assist. Peter was an avid Montreal Canadians Fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Lillian Stewart, son, Harold (Harry) Stewart, a stepdaughter,

Katelynn Curry, and their mom, Ashley Curry. Peter is also survived by stepbrothers, Kenny Stewart, Chris Turner, and Steven Turner, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Clarice and Bob Dean, Mary Cleophas

and Peter Stewart and his long-time furry companion, Gus.

Our family would like to thank anyone who reached out in any way.

Donations in Peter’s memory may be made to the local SPCA or whenever you see someone in need, do a “Good Deed.”

Cremation has taken place under the direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and

Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902 849-4199).
