Peter, where do I start? I first met you back in 2012 in New Dawn, you ran into the class running late that day in pajama pants, you had a laugh and said we were all lucky you even found pants to wear. We all had a chuckle. For some reason that day forward we became friends. You had a big heart and always seem to give us that good old belly laugh from your stories. I still remember when you were pulled over by the cops and he took your big breakfast from Mike's Lunch. You weren't upset about being pulled over just the fact that you were enjoying that breakfast. I still smile and have a chuckle when I think of that story. Loved chatting with you on Facebook and enjoyed running into you and that big hug you always seemed to give. You always made my day when I talked to you. I hope you are at peace Peter. You will be missed by all that knew you. RIP my friend ❤️

My heartfelt sympathies go out to my cousin Raymond and family at the loss of his son, Peter. My brother, Willie and I thought of the Stewart family as immediate family, not only cousins. I did not know Peter well but I knew that he really loved his children so much, and cared for so many others too!

I knew Peter since he was a kid….we had alot of laughs over the years….he loved his grandmother Clarece and he and i travelled to the various clubs in glace bay…i saw him last time i was home this summer…again we had a few laughs and went on our way..will miss ya Pete..rest in peace ole pal…

Peter, I remember when we first met. We talked for a bit and discovered we were cousins. We never spoke a lot, but we always had a great conversation when we did speak. You were always so kind and ready to help whenever someone needed it. You will be missed dearly. My condolences to the family.
