I remember when I was a student at Dalhousie in the late sixties and Uncle Chub spent some time in Camp Hill Hospital. I would go every few days to visit him as there was no other family nearby. He was so happy to see a familiar face and I was so happy to hang out with him. Love you forever, Uncle Chub!

Judy, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's sudden passing. Even though I didn't know him, as I read the beautiful tribute I thought of my dad who was born in the same year. It must have been a good year because they both had the same kind and gentle qualities. He also worshipped his wife and loved his family. Often, the longer we have them, the harder it is to say good-bye. I know your heart is broken. Hugs to you, Judy.

Ruby, Gary,Sandra,Judy and Terry I am so sorry to hear of Chub’s passing. I have so many fond memories from living across the street from you when we were growing up.
I loved visiting your home where Chub and Ruby would always make us feel so welcome and one thing that I always think of at Christmas time is that we would have lobster (my favourite food ever)when we would have a visit with your family. Our parents were lifelong friends and I am very thankful for that! My heart breaks for all of you!
