Obituary of Kenneth Edward Brown

Our beloved husband and father, Kenneth Edward Brown, age 69, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2024 surrounded by his family after a long battle with MS. Born in Halifax, NS, May 1955, he was the son of the late, Kenneth and Joyce (Slaunwhite) Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Leslie (MacNeill); three adored children, Lyndsay, Michael, and Christopher. Much loved brother, Howard; wife Janet; and nephew, Matthew, who held a special place in his heart for their immense support, love, and care over the years; and brothers, Stephen, and Karl. Ken served 24 loyal years as a Corrections Officer for the Nova Scotia Department of Justice. He was an avid guitar player and life of the party who never played the same song twice in one night. He was an athlete at heart with a special passion for running, handball, and fly fishing with his boys in Margaree. He was loved by all who knew him, and always showed kindness and compassion. Above all else, his greatest joy in life were his family, friends, and beloved children who he was so proud of. Visitation will be held on September 7, 2024 in T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Beechville, NS, B3S 1C4, from 2pm-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS society of Canada. "One Life, One Love"
