Our very sad condolences to Yvonne's entire family mostly Tracey whom we had the pleasure of knowing as a very young child. We had been chumming with Yvonne and her first husband for a few years then things changed, probably with us as we had met her through the first husband then she met Normand whom we met a few times at one of their parties. We loved Yvonne as everyone expressed how friendly and fun she was. One time they were going away and needed a babysitter so we said sure! However Tracey came capped with a bonnet on(and we did not have kids yet) so I asked why? and Yvonne said she had lice but should be okay just a protection because of stuff on her scalp I guess. 'Reluctantly', because she was so young we took her in our bed to sleep between us and she was fine, went to sleep and we did not catch any lice. Sorry if this embarasses you but we loved that time with you, Tracey, so much. We have thought about her and you Tracey, such a sweet beautiful child you were. We really wanted to keep you but they would not allow us to do so. We miss you & your Mom all these years. I should have tried to keep in touch, but should have does not cut it. we will love your mom forever knowing her as a that sweet person everyone seems to feel about her. Take care you and your family.

I knew the Shiers family when they lived on Brunswick St abd went to St Pat's school with both Yvonne and her sister Nancy . After many years we also attended the same dances , she loved to dance and always had to have a beautiful smile to share with everyone who met her .

Q: What will you never forget about Yvonne?
A: Not long ago, Robert and I being members at the Legion near home invited Norm and Tootsie to a Hallowe'en Dance. She was dressed as "50 shades of Grey" so had all those coloured cards on her hat. Since she loved dancing, dancing she did a lot. We had a great fun time.

Yvonne, you will be greatly missed. We had such fun together, eating suppers in fancy restaurants, laughing till we cried, playing scrabble, and being pranked by her, We were so happy to have you and Norm join Terry and I at the Cove for supper not so long ago. I will hold that in day in my heart. She loved life, and I was so happy she met Norm and he made her so happy! Our hearts go out to Norm, her daughter Tracy her sister Nancy and her brother Wally.
Terry and I send our deepest condolences. Tootsie, you be missed forever.

Yvonne and I had a lot of fun when we were younger. Dinned out at fancy restaurants, shared hilarious laughs, enjoyed scrabble games, she was a prankster! Pranked a lot of people. She enjoyed life! Was so happy when she met Norm, they were great together! We enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Cove not long ago and I will always treasure that day. I will miss you forever Tootsie ♥️ .
