We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of one of our Shaw Lake camping family. Robert said many times how much he loved being at the lake and his many friends he had made here over the years. Our thoughts go out to Flo, his large family and friends. We will most certainly miss Robert's quick smile, witty conversation and of course his Nfld. accent. R.I.P. Robert.

I remember the day Flossy and Robert came to Alaska . Charlie was looking out the window and said I think Floss and Robert have made it here , they have been having trouble with the radiator, so Robert and Charlie went straight to the shop to work on it. Charlie being mechanic had it Fixed and running in no time. I remember Robert walking into the house and saying When my Tetley teabags are gone, we’re leaving after that. It was nothing but talk about going fishing and camping. Charlie and Robert had a good fishing trip at the Swanson River, But my God as soon as the rain came and his Tetley teabags were gone, so was Roberts on the road again to go see my sister, Patsy, and Harry in Barry Bay Ontario to make more memories. I am so glad I went to visit Robert Floss last summer we had some good laughs. You will be missed .say hello to Charlie for me. I’m sure both of you will get some fishing in your loving Sister-in-law Judy .
