Condolences to all the members of Elaine's family. She and I were first cousins, but I only met her, and some of her family members, a few years ago, at family funerals. (My mother, Mamie Tufts, was separated from her family, at a very young age, because she had witnessed a crime, and was therefore put under the control of the "Witness Protection Program" because her parents feared for her safety. She was sent to NB, at the tender age of twelve, after spending a year or so at a girl's school in NS. She was not allowed contact with her family so we didn't get a chance to meet her family until many years later.) I am blessed that I was able to meet her siblings and many of my cousins, after I got married and began looking for them. I am thankful that I have been able to correspond with Elaine, and several of her siblings, via Messenger. May God give you strength, at this time, as you mourn the loss of a very special lady. I love you all!
