Tom had the magic of stopping people in their tracks to listen to his singing or one of his strories. I was one of those caught up in his magic.
Tom and Martha not only gave words of wisdom to Estella and Tommy but also to their friends.
I had the privilege of growing up in Belleoram with the Keepings.
XOXO Cindy May

Stella, Tom, Martha & families,
It is with extreme sadness that we write this; Our hearts are just broken for you all with this loss of your beloved Dad, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend….….
He certainly was one of a kind…….. one of those great souls, and we know your lives will never be the same without him.
He has left everyone with so many wonderful memories.
Our faith is certainly tested at times like this. It's difficult to understand a loss like this, but we need to be mindful of the true blessing that he was to you.
Someone so special can never be forgotten.
He was such a kind man to everyone he came in contact with…..and I believe you need to be kind to everyone you meet… Tom was a true testament to this.
You are now his legacy. Live your lives as he lived his, exuding love, gentleness and kindness.
This is such a huge tremendous loss in all of your lives. Please know how much we share your grief. It is a sad time for everyone who knew Tom ….
It’s never easy losing someone you love so deeply, you just learn to live differently.
Watch for the little signs from above. He will always be with you ❤️
Sending much love and very deep sympathy,
Judy & Brian McCarthy

My condolences to the families. Tom was a dear friend who spent many mornings at my home in Belleoram enjoying a tea for him and a coffee for my husband. They both loved music and could talk for hours. Him and Martha were sure missed when they moved to NS. RIP Tom and Simeon and enjoy your music in your final resting place.

Uncle Tom was truly one of a kind. The first time I met him, I’m pretty sure he told me a dirty joke within the first few minutes. His sense of humour was the best.
It was always such a joy seeing him. His calm and gentle demeanour was comforting. He was the strong silent type who just seemed to take it all in when together with the whole family.
My biggest respect for Tom, came with the way he loved Aunt. Their bond with each other was real and it just made you realize how much of a gentleman he was. One can only ever dream of a true love llfe partner like him. He was certainly one of the good ones.
He will certainly be missed,
Love and deepest sympathies,
Maryann May (niece by marriage)
