Dear Marie and family:
Our deepest condolences to you and all the family with Greg's passing, almost 100 years old, such an accomplishment with remarkable memories. Richard and I recall so many good afternoons in Mary & Donnie's kitchen with Greg, playing his guitar, Vernie on the fiddle and Donnie singing & playing. In fact, Marie, I recall so many times asking you to sing a duet with Greg called 'Poison in my Heart' and you didn't disappoint us. We are living in Alberta the last 10 years enjoying our son & family but come back to the Maritimes for hunting & special occasions. We always asked how you both were doing when we were home and wished we were able to have got together. However, our memories are wonderful ones that will keep us happy when we recall the many good times together. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief and sorry. Rest in peace, Greg.

To all of Jim's family, my sincere condolences. I met Jim when he worked at Citadel Hill. I remember all the stories about his early life and hard times growing up. His mother had passed away when the family were young and he would say "I was short all my life" referring to having to work hard to earn a living. He was always pleasant and ready to help. I always watched the paper to see announcements of his and his wife's anniversary and happy to know he was still with us. I am sure you all have great memories. I cherish all the times I spent listening to his stories and his warm smile. May he now rest in peace.

Greg always had a smile and a kind word for our beautiful Laura who lived in the same house as he did at Ivany. His quiet support for her and everyone around him was obvious. Greg, your presence will be missed but your impact will always be remembered.
