Obituary of Don (James "Donald" Roland) Urquhart

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Donald Urquhart of Halifax, Nova Scotia, at the age of 50. Don is the beloved son of Shirley and Roland Urquhart of Stratford, PEI and cherished brother of Corrie Urquhart-Lynch (Trevor) and loving uncle of Morgan and Owen Lynch of Summerside, PEI. He is the much loved nephew of Donna and Cleland Marshall of Halifax and cousins Arthur, Cathy, Liz and Jim Marshall and cousin Laurence Urquhart (predeceased by uncle James (Sharon) Urquhart). Beloved nephew of Mary Lou Morrison (David deceased) of Charlottetown, cousins Michelle Morrison (Ian Forgeron), Heather Morrison (JF Bader) and uncle Alan Leadbeater of Ottawa. Don is survived by many other family members, his former wife and forever friend Chantel Leturneau and many close friends and colleagues. Don worked in the CGI Animation Industry and had much success in his work over the past 27 years. Don was much loved by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Bethany United Church, 7171 Clinton Ave. in Halifax, on Friday March 22, 2024 at 7:00 pm. Interment at a later date in the Memorial Gardens of Christ Church Cherry Valley, PEI.
