No matter how much time had passed in between visits, Uncle Reid always welcomed me with a smile and a good teasing. I remember the summer I worked with the mines. I was looking for Reid and everyone I stopped to chat with had so many great things to say about Reid, like what a hard worker he was, and how smart he was, and how everyone could always count on Reid. I was so proud to be his niece. I will miss his warmth and humour. My heart is with my cousins and Reid's family and friends.
