As a teenager, I met a girl from Gold River, and I also had a Camaro , so when you saw someone else with one you took notice. So my now wife, knew Johnny and told me who he was, and I eventually got to know him. Fast forward to all these years later, and still one of my fondest memories as a kid that I have spoken of many times, is me headed to Chester Basin one day about 37 years ago and meeting Johnny on the Gold River Bridge , him in that dark blue early 70's Camaro that I loved, his head peaking up over the dash , floating as he went by must've been 80mph, with the fingers up with the peace sign as he waved! Last time I saw and spoke to Johnny was at a cancer walk in Chester at the school must be 10 years ago, we laughed over it. Cool guy, I liked him from day one! Funny that years later ,his father and my father were very good friends. I sure you're up there hanging out with our fathers. RIP Johnny.

We met Johnny when he was just a young boy that used to come with his Mom, Dad and brothers to our Pizza Shop in Lunenburg to get pizzas

To the Hatt family I send my sincere condolence. The Hatt boys worked on our property cutting wood in the 1990's. They all worked very hard and did a great job for us. May your memories of John bring you peace and comfort at this time.
