Dear Joanne, Family and the Nearing, and Thomas Families,
It was sad to learn of a good neighbor and friend's passing. The Nearings were special neighbors during my growing-up days on "the hill" across the field from Mr. & Mrs. Nearing. Terrance and Eileen were proud of their family who grew up to be good citizens.
During my return visits to Port Morien, it was always good to meet Terry on one of his walks. When he was driving through the village he'd stop to catch up on some stories about our family and friends of the past.
He was another individual who remained a loyal friend and will be dearly missed.
You are in our thoughts and prayers during these difficult days.

I have many fond memories from our early days on Birch Street, and growing up with him in Port Morien.
He was a loyal and trustworthy friend, and I cherish the times we had together.

Very sad to hear of Terry's passing. Fine young man growing up, part of our initial Little League team in 1960. Two years my junior, but basically grew up in same generation. Drove back and forth to work with our late brother Gordon. They can rekindle their relationship now. Condolences to entire families. Rest in peace old friend.
