To Eric and the family:
Dave was tough old nut. Enjoyed the times that I chatted with him over the years, especially when coaching Eric with my colleagues at the time. It can always be said that Dave was proud dad and certainly a proud family man.
I can remember at Eric's draft day to the OHL (Oshawa) when I scouted for the Guelph Storm. Dave was with Eric in the stands waiting for the call....but, I needed a phone to do some Storm business (funny business at the time) and Dave was good enough to allow me the use of his phone when all the pay phones in the London Arena were all in use (all two of them) ..... of course Dave allowed this for a fee....:)
Eric, to you and your family, many condolences and God bless you all. Rest in Peace Dave.

Sometimes in life you come across someone who just fits in with your interests, your job, and your sports activities. Dave Bolton was that guy for many of the guys on HFD. We would like to send our condolences to Dave's wife Helen and his family. It's your time to rest Dave until we meet again.

So sorry to hear that you have lost your husband Helen..
Although i didnt know Dave i know he was a good husband and father and will be greatly missed.
Do you remember when we sang Silent Night at the New Perth xmas concert ? In grade one.

My family’s condolences to Dave’s Family. Meeting Dave through hockey years ago was quite memorable:):) he was an exceptional man for sure. On an away tournament with the Halifax Hawks with our boys we had a few drinks in a hotel :)
Dave travelled from room to room never leaving his chair with roller wheels while carrying his smiles and laughter everywhere he went:):)

Bob and the entire Boulton family my heart goes out to you on the passing of Dave. Bob, so many of the players from our Championship Juvenile Hockey Team in Halifax have passed. The memories of that terrific group has always been a treasure. You and Dave sharing that win as brothers makes it even more for both of you. Your brother was a great guy/man. I'm sure your many friends feel down on losing him so soon. Deepest sympathies your friend and the coach.
